Magnetic boxes overview

A magnetic closure box is a rigid greyboard box wrapped in printed or specialty paper, with a front flap that snaps shut on two or more magnets embedded under the wrap. Nothing to tear, nothing to tape: the unboxing is a lift, a soft click and a reveal.

We build them for skincare and fragrance sets, candles, jewellery and watches, corporate gifts and limited editions. Board thickness runs from 1.5 mm to 3 mm depending on weight, and the inside can carry an EVA, foam, card or blister insert cut to the exact product.

What board thickness do you use for magnetic boxes?

Most magnetic boxes use 1.5–2 mm greyboard. Heavier sets such as glass bottles or multi-candle kits move up to 2.5–3 mm. We confirm the thickness on your dieline before sampling.

Can the magnetic box be shipped flat?

A classic magnetic box ships assembled. If freight volume matters, choose a collapsible magnetic box: it ships flat and folds into a rigid box in seconds.

How strong are the magnets?

We size magnets to the lid and contents so the flap stays shut when the box is held upside down, yet opens with one finger. Magnet count and size are confirmed at sample stage.

What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

We accept low MOQs for most custom boxes. Simple structures can start from a few hundred pieces; the exact MOQ depends on size, materials and finishes, and we state it on every quotation.

How long do samples and production take?

Samples take 5–7 days after artwork and dieline approval. Mass production takes 15–25 days depending on quantity and complexity. Shipping time is added on top.
